OUR VALUES, upon which this ministry is founded, are appropriately set forth in “The Prayer of St. Francis” which can be found hanging in the monastery in Bethpage, Israel today.

Make me an instrument of Thy Peace
Where there is hatred, let me sow love
Where there is injury, pardon
Where there is doubt, faith
Where there is despair, hope
Where there is darkness, light; and
Where there is sadness, joy.
Divine Master,
Grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console;
To be understood as to understand;
To be loved as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

To create an environment where all people in Pastoral Ministry or on the mission field that have dedicated their lives to spreading the gospel and sharing the love of Christ can find Refuge, Rest, and Restoration in HIS presence. God has given the vision for The Retreat at Bethpage to Pastor Steve, owner of The Retreat, as the place where many will come in these last days to gain strength, wisdom, and courage to stand against the attacks that will be placed against Christianity.

To Cultivate and protect a place created by God where He desires to have a relationship with HIS children. To show ourselves faithful and loving to those that have gone out for the sake of Christ, supporting fellow workers in the truth of Christ’s commandment. In support of this mission, “The Retreat at Bethpage” is dedicated to the renewal of ministries, the revival of churches, and the restoration of families through His revelation knowledge.
